Virtual Workshops and Lectures
Due to the coronavirus of 2020, on-site workshops are no longer safe to attend and quilters being an exceptionally friendly group were in need of an alternate source for workshops and lectures. Fortunately platforms such as Zoom are available to fill the void where workshops can be presented virtually.
The beauty of a virtual workshop is the workshop comes to you. The virtual process is quite simple. A video link will be emailed to each student and once activated will give each student a front row seat to see up close the thread painting demo that is taking place. While I will not be there to look over each student’s shoulder, my aim is to make it feel like I am. Just as in an on-site workshop I will be available to answer questions or to critique student’s work throughout the day of the workshop. The workshops are for quilting guilds, shows and seminars only.
Lectures will be presented live through a platform such as Zoom
